Responsibilities As a leader of portfolio of services, you will: Define service(s) strategy and roadmap by partnering with the product management. Represent your organization at the VP and SVP level. Use the experience and expertise to operate large scale software fleets to ensure the services meet the OCI scale. Collaborate with your team, peers, various organizations, and senior leadership to identify product and customer requirements, coordinate delivery, and integrate solutions to meet the business needs. Recruit and continue to build out a capable and cohesive engineering team who can deliver complex projects on time. Your ability to influence other teams is a key to your success in this role. Qualifications: 7+ years experience in managing large-scale organizations, preferably with multiple layers of management. 10+ years of designing, delivering, and operating large scale distributed systems in production environments. Demonstrable success mentoring and growing engineers and people managers to senior levels. Prior experience in owning and managing SaaS/IaaS services Strong knowledge of networking, distributed systems and high-performance computing fundamentals. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience. We are growing fast.
