Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and possess the capability to obtain and maintain a government suitability clearance.
The Cloud Automation Engineering Intern will collaborate with our technical team to investigate and create Cloud-based applications and automation solutions tailored for Anika Systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing various automation methodologies such as scripting, low-code/no-code technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Gaining foundational knowledge of cloud services and learning how to provision and configure these services through automation.
- Designing and managing multi-cloud infrastructures across platforms like Azure and AWS.
- Developing automation software and prototypes using a suitable combination of programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, .Net, Java).
- Employing DevOps tools with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) techniques to automatically construct and sustain Cloud infrastructure, facilitating advanced applications, data, and Machine Learning (ML) solutions.
- Implementing DevOps practices to automate data operations (DataOps) and the training and deployment of Machine Learning models (MLOps).
- Deploying ML models across various environments and integrating them into our solutions.
- Utilizing cloud-native monitoring tools to assess system behavior regarding load and failure conditions to predict and avert potential failures.
- Exploring No-Code, Low-Code, and Code-First technologies and tools.
- Documenting work and assisting teams in proposal and technical writing.
- Delivering high-quality code within deadlines for assigned tasks.
Requirements:
- At least one year of college coursework completed.
- Currently enrolled in a four-year degree program in a technical discipline or a Cloud Engineer Associate's program.
- Experience with at least one programming or scripting language.
- Strong technical aptitude and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Organized and self-driven.
- Experience in Application Development, Cloud services, DevOps, or Cyber Security is a significant advantage.
