Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize scripting skills to create and implement automation solutions using Puppet.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for deploying and managing systems and applications through orchestration tools.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, overseeing multiple deployment stages including development, testing, and production.
  • Write and optimize scripts in Python, YAML, Ruby, and Shell for deployment automation and scheduling tasks.
  • Design and execute a Puppet-based configuration management system for new Linux servers.
  • Establish Puppet master and client configurations, along with scripting for application deployment across various environments.
  • Create Puppet modules integrated with Jenkins to facilitate continuous integration and deployment processes.
  • Engage in the configuration and monitoring of distributed servers across multiple platforms using Puppet.
  • Administer Puppet Enterprise for provisioning multi-platform virtual machine setups, ensuring effective management of development, testing, and production environments.
  • Document and maintain Puppet modules, manifests, Hiera configurations, and Git repositories for Puppet Enterprise on both RHEL and Windows systems.
  • Develop a standardized custom Puppet module skeleton to ensure consistency across all Puppet modules.
