Assist in design evaluations and the release of components. Provide support for component and assembly testing, encompassing definition, planning, requirement establishment, and report generation. Offer guidance, both procedural and technical, to the stress team to maintain high-quality analysis work. Conduct structural analyses using both classical hand calculations and finite element analysis techniques, covering both composite and metallic materials. Maintain direct communication with mechanical design teams, structural testing teams, integration teams, and DERs (Designated Engineering Representatives). Contribute to the definition of stress methods. Required B.S. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering 10+ years of experience working in the aerospace industry Previous experience managing or leading an engineering team Strong understanding of free body diagrams, loading scenarios and behavior of aircraft components Perform analysis on aircraft powerplant systems Experience with aircraft certification CAD experience Experience with hand calculations and FEA (nonlinear static and dynamic analysis of metallic and composite structures) Ideal candidate M.S. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering 15+ years of industry experience Experience with Femap/Nastran or Abaqus/CAE Experience with MRB Knowledge of FAR Part 23, 27, and 29 Experience with flight test or test benches Previous experience working within the aircraft certification program Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) Unlimited Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Stock Option Plan
