: The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth for strategic supply partners. Major responsibilities include executing a growth strategy aligned with a supplier or end market, supporting the commercial team on share expansion at existing customers as well as new customer acquisitions. Delivering results as an expert in product positioning and consultative selling to achieve Bamberger objectives. The Business Development Manager must be able to explain and sell ideas, have a closer mentality and proactive approach in collaborating with and influencing the sales team. The BDM will be a valuable resource for the commercial organization on supplier product lines and end markets. The BDM will work closely with Product Managers to ensure the proper focus and alignment of the Bamberger objectives, and work with

Regional Sales Managers, Sales reps and Technical Service to make sure those objectives are met. The BDM will own the opportunity pipeline and support its activity through customer visits, coordination of resources and collaboration with the strategic supplier as well as maintaining the CRM. The BDM will develop targets and work closely with Sales reps to regularly update the targets status and they will work closely with PM and suppliers to ensure proper sales direction The long-term goal is for the BDM to be responsible for mapping applications, OEMs and end markets to align with supplier strategies. Desired Skills & Experience: Four year Technical or Business degree A minimum of 5 years of plastics industry experience in sales, application development, business development or market management Strong business acumen Strong communication and relationship management skills.
