Tulsa Inspection Resources is currently recruiting a Business Development Manager to help support and grow our large pipeline integrity client operations throughout the US. The primary responsibility is to build market position by identifying, developing, prioritizing, negotiating, and closing new opportunities for our ILIS operations.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

  • Improve the Company’s market position and achieve financial growth.
  • Actively prospect inspection opportunities with new pipeline customers in the Public Utility industries.
  • Cold call and research potential customers to identify decision makers, develop rapport and set-up meetings.
  • Develop, organize, participate in and may lead customer meetings and presentations, Collect customer intelligence, insights, and work as part of an integrated team to create new business opportunities; participate in the customer bidding process.
  • Develop customer account plans and manage those plans with defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinate business opportunities, contacts and services across the Business Development Team.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential and current in Customer Relationship Management tool.
  • Participate as part of an account management team with existing customers.
  • Participate and actively work industry functions, such as association events and conferences, to cultivate new business opportunities and contacts.
  • Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate; forecast sales targets and ensure they are met; track and record activity on accounts and contacts to meet targets.
  • Provide intelligence on competitors and market trends.
  • Represent the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.”
  • Actively support the Company’s commitment its Core Values, including safety leadership, equal employment opportunity, employee development, and operational excellence.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Bachelor‘s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years sales experience; minimum of 5 years of Inspection and Energy sales experience, preferably in the areas of Public Utilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfortable presenting to Clients and members of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills and ability to manage multiple tasks through prioritization and execution.
  • Work requires up to 25% travel outside of the office, including meetings with customers, attending and working industry events, etc.
