Development
Reporting to the Associate Director of Board Relations and Campaign, the Manager of Board and Campaign Operations helps ensure that team systems best cultivate LACMA’s high-level donors, the museum’s Board of Trustees, and campaign donors and prospects.
The manager collaborates with and understands the perspectives of Board and campaign team colleagues, museum leadership, patrons, and others to develop successful systems that will strengthen donor relationships with LACMA. Working in collaboration with internal partners and external vendors, the manager is responsible for the planning, tracking, and execution of all projects related to the above services for these two groups.
Responsibilities:
Maintains systems and routinely evaluates where to improve processes and increase efficiencies
Oversees invoicing, receipting, and acknowledgments for Board and campaign contributions and is the primary manager of the Principal Invoicing email account
Tracks milestones and communicates deadlines for all board and campaign projects, especially materials & event productions, and board and committee meetings
Collaborates with internal Graphics and Editorial departments to create and project manage all collateral for the Board and campaign team, including updates to current printed and digital materials as well as creating new fundraising materials
Creates customized campaign proposals and presentations on InDesign for digital and printed use
With the guidance of the Senior VP of Development and the Senior Board and Campaign Officer, brainstorm and execute the evolution of campaign donor recognition
Coordinates and tracks campaign naming structures with the campaign team and cross-departmentally for campaign
Maintains Board contact information and roster documents with the Board and Campaign Administrative Assistant
Maintains lists and systems for large-scale mail merge communications
Supports all Board-and campaign-related events as needed
Builds and deploys event communications and reservation tracking to sync with the Senior Events Manager of Board and Campaign and is the primary manager of the Principal Events email account
Interfaces directly with donors as needed to accomplish duties and responsibilities
Performs other duties or special projects as assigned
Maintains regular and reliable attendance
Benefits:
The expected annual salary for this Los Angeles, CA-based position is $64,500k - $66k, subject to change, and the position is eligible for LACMA’s comprehensive benefits package, including a pension plan.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
At least four years of experience with an art museum or non-profit background preferred
Experience servicing clients or patrons with an exceptionally high level of quality and responsiveness
Experience using Tessitura, or an equivalent ticketing and donor database software, database is preferred
Excellent project management skills
Basic knowledge of InDesign
Ability to create proposals including text and images
