Summary About the Position: This position is with the US Army Cadet Command 8th Brigade, University of Idaho located in Moscow, Idaho. Responsibilities Provide sound advise on subject such as recruiting, retention, and incentives management. Responsible for the development and execution of recruiting plans Responsible for gathering, identifying and analyzing recruiting program issues ensuring that programs function effectively and effectively make recommendations to correct deficient program issues. Participate in recruiting activities in pre-selected areas in an effort to increase public awareness of the ROTC program. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: work that involves determining enrollment eligibility for prospective Reserve Officer Training Corp (ROTC) cadets; utilizing pertinent laws and regulations to manage and award scholarship incentives; and executing marketing strategy operation orders specified by higher headquarters. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-09. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Change Management Problem Solving Product Evaluation Writing Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
