About the Role
As a Social Media Strategist, you'll play a vital role in developing and executing engaging social media campaigns. You'll work closely with the rest of the Social Media team based in India to learn the ropes, contribute fresh ideas, and help us connect with our target audience across various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing data-driven social media strategies that aligns with the companys overall marketing and business objectives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, field marketing, internal studio teams and external agencies to produce engaging content suited to each platform.
- Conduct research and implement social listening to understand target audience demographics, interests, and social media behavior.
- Brainstorm creative content ideas (text, images, videos) optimized for each platform.
- Develop and manage social media content calendars to ensure consistent posting and brand alignment.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance using analytics tools, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide support to other members of the global social media team for activities in the US, incl. social activity around local events and business updates.
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- 4-5 years of experience in social media marketing, or strong portfolio demonstrating social media expertise.
- Strong understanding of all major social media platforms, esp. LinkedIn, X and Instagram.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and as a part of a global team.
- Passion for social media and a keen eye for creative content. Proficiency in social media analytics tools is an added advantage.
- US Citizenship or valid work authorization is required.
