Responsibilities:

  • Proficiently manage tracking of collections, loss mitigation negotiations, and charge-off recovery.
  • Manage and facilitate loan modifications, debt settlement processing, and revisions of charged-off loan repayment plans.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in monitoring adherence to bankruptcy filing requirements and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to streamline loss mitigation processes, resulting in improved efficiency and reduced turnaround time.
  • Assist in the development and establishment of Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Conduct interviews, assist with onboarding, and effectively train new hires, imparting collections best practices to ramp up production.
  • Manage a high-performance team while closely monitoring agents' performance, analyzing data, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Ensure effective utilization of customer communication channels, phone, text, email, and chat for optimal collections performance.
  • Ability to assist the team with all collections and recovery processes to ensure productivity.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in collections, loss mitigation, and recovery.
  • Excellent knowledge base of collections, loss mitigation, and recovery protocols.
  • Excellent team mentoring and leadership skills.
