Credit Risk Team: The Risk team at Drip Capital is at the center of business activity. The role of the risk team is to develop and execute the risk strategy at Drip. The team collaborates with a cross-section of the company such as business growth, the CEO’s office, risk operations, products, and technology. The purpose of the risk team is to develop risk strategies and policies for healthy business growth, risk portfolio management, risk data analytics, reporting, and insights. The team is expected to develop a forward-looking mechanism for faster and more efficient decision-making using AI and Machine learning. The current team consists of members from institutions including Wharton, Stanford, and IITs with years of experience at companies across the globe like Google, HSBC, Morgan Stanley, and American Express to name a few.

Your Role:

Work on high-priority projects related to risk mitigation and optimizing Drip’s portfolio across different products and markets. Work closely with growth, underwriting, operations, and product teams to find and implement opportunities to improve risk underwriting and monitoring models. Development and execution of risk policies to support business growth Portfolio Management to ensure the losses are within the firm’s risk appetite Collaboration with BD, Product, Ops, and Risk Servicing team to build scalable global risk strategies Running Root Cause Analyses for identifying policy and compliance gaps Drive product-first and data-driven decisions within and outside the team Own and deliver regular risk updates for top management and other stakeholders Redesigning risk policy to enhance risk checks Implement redesigned policy including financial ratios and monitoring Define & implement invoice approval policy Our Checklist:

6 plus years of work experience in Tier 1/2 financial services or consulting industry, experience in early/growth stage lending FinTech is preferred Graduate from a Tier 1/2 college with an engineering/ statistics degree and/or MBA is a plus Preference for advanced certifications in finance (CA, CFA, FRM equivalent or below) Basic knowledge of SQL and Python is a must.
