Who We Are: Chesterfield Employment Services (CES) creates opportunities for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities to become valued employees in the community, improving their quality of life. Chesterfield Employment Services (CES) is currently seeking a MHSS Services Supervisor to assist with job training and long-term periodic support for the duration of job employment. Minimum Education and Experience : Bachelor's degree in related field (master's degree preferred); three years of increasingly responsible job-related experience to include two years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Considerable knowledge of theories, principles, and practices of community behavioral, prevention and/or ID programming; of principles and techniques of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of persons with behavioral health disorders; of relevant mental health laws. Ability to plan and organize a behavioral health project and/or components of a program; to interpret and apply county, state and federal regulations, policies and guidelines related to the assigned program; to communicate effectively orally and in writing; to operate a personal computer and related software and other standard office equipment; to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers; to supervise staff. Ability to work with a diverse population preferred. Working knowledge of the Medicaid Waiver Preferred. Additional Requirements : Current valid driver’s license and good driving record required. Based on the Virginia DMV point system, record must not reflect a total of six or more demerit points within the twenty-four months preceding the anticipated hire date, or one major violation of six demerit points within the preceding thirty-six months. Out of state driving records must be obtained by applicant and presented at the interview. Records must reflect at least three years of history and be dated within thirty days of the interview date. Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Supervises, trains and evaluates the work of professional, technical and other program staff. Develops and implements objectives, policies and procedures for assigned program unit. Monitors the coordination of employment services to maintain or increase individual’s current level of community integration and choices. Participates in budget preparation and planning and assists in administering assigned budget. Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, accreditation standards, and department policies and procedures. Participates in the negotiation and development of service contracts and monitors service delivery. Performs quality improvement. Performs other work as required. Monday - Friday; 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; hours can vary based on the support needs of the individuals supported. #J-18808-Ljbffr
