Job Description

Pacific Staffing is recruiting for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) with M&A experience for a professional services company in the Sacramento area. This is a great direct hire opportunity to join a rapidly growing organization that offers a generous compensation package and great leadership team. The HRBP is primarily responsible for leading the end-to-end HR life cycle for the Mergers and Acquisitions process, including project managing HR due diligence and planning the HR payroll, systems, and benefits integration. Salary: $100k-$130k DOE.

The qualified candidate will have experience with the M&A process within a large organization and proven success in driving projects forward successfully to completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with HR, Corporate Development, and other cross-functional partners to define and evolve the HR M&A process, including integration of compensation and benefit programs, HR systems, total rewards, and more.
Onboard and assimilate teams into their first year to ensure effective engagement & retention and reduce impact to the business.
Identify, escalate, and resolve risks and issues in partnership with cross-functional teams like Corporate Development, Finance, IT, and others.
Troubleshoot M&A-related People & Culture issues and support the unique needs of acquired employees and management throughout their first year as they transition to new culture, tools, programs, and processes.
Partner with clients and specialists in HR to run all key people processes (performance management, compensation, training & development programs, etc.). Be a strategic and trusted advisor to the business that you support, a key part of the business leadership team.
Support leaders with day-to-day HR guidance and coaching.
Ensure a happy workforce through providing any needed HR support, such as swift and effective resolutions to questions and issues.
Build compliance into all HR processes, including maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, and reducing legal risks.
Help drive and embed diversity practices within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 8+ years of People/HR experience, M&A experience required.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or Management.
PHR/SPHR certification a plus.
Strong project management and change management experience.
