Interpress Technologies, Inc. is a printer of packaging materials with plants in Woodland, Sacramento, and Wisconsin. The Receptionist/HR Assistant is responsible for welcoming visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring to inquiries. A Receptionist/HR Assistant also provides Human Resource support to the Human Resource Manager by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations as well as human resource policies, programs, and practices.

The responsibilities of the successful applicant will include:

  • Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories, giving instructions.
  • Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges.
  • Maintains safe clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system, keeping past and current records.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Maintains human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Abide by companies Confidentiality Policies.

Minimum Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for education and experience can be met in the following way:

  • Possess High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Pass basic math and color test.
  • Able to follow directions.
  • Must be able to maintain good attendance.
  • Be willing to work overtime.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Supports Diversity.
