The International Mission Board, a nonprofit religious organization is hiring for an exciting Finance and Grant Manager opportunity as a part of Send ReliefLocation: Alpharetta, GACompensation: Commensurate with experience + great benefitsThe Finance & Grant Manager will serve as Send Relief International's financial accountability point person, ensuring financial accountability is maintained for all international operations. Monitor the transfers of funds between International Mission Board (IMB) and North American Mission Board (NAMB) to ensure they are carried out effectively and efficiently and coordinate efforts between NAMB and IMB finance teams. Track international finances for projects and monitor grant agreements for compliance. Function as the liaison with IMB Office of Finance and the IMB Field Financial Directors. Responsibilities:Administer funds, initiate grant payments to grantees, receive receipts for grant payments and follow up with grantees to obtain receipts, and provide reports to grantees and Send Relief field personnel on grant status. Process changes to the grant payment schedules during the grant period. Perform on-site financial review of grantee financial processes and internal controls.Oversee processes to ensure transparency and accountability in all financial matters related to Send Relief projects. Partner with IMB Finance to implement a solution that enables ongoing monitoring of project receipts to ensure funds are being spent in line with project budget and according to policies and guidelines. Develop and prepare financial reports related to income and expenditures of Send Relief international funds including financial giving reports, operating expenditures compared to budget, and project financial activity reports.Provide reports upon request to IMB, NAMB and other SBC organizations. Report on specific disaster response funds. Process requests for payments related to Send Relief international operations. Process inter-organization transactions between IMB, NAMB, Send Relief, and field partners.Approve expenses reports for Send Relief personnel in Workday. Ensure appropriate financial and internal controls are in place and functioning effectively. Assist with financial transactions and facilitate excellent financial accountability related to crisis response funds.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related degree.Minimum five years of related experience with processing and oversight of complex financial activities.Ability to understand, analyze and interpret financial information in varying formats and conduct reporting and analysis.Strong ability to synthesize financial information to various audiences.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.High level proficiency with accounting/financial software, spreadsheets, and data management systems to include report writing (Workday); financial systems; and Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).Proven experience working collaboratively and effectively across multiple teams. Ability to travel internationally at least three times a year.
