Job Title: Portfolio Management Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Management Leader to join our team at Northpoint Commercial Finance. As a Portfolio Management Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of portfolio management professionals and overseeing all risk management activity and dealer/supplier service within an assigned industry or product line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team of portfolio management professionals.
  • Portfolio Performance: Develop and measure portfolio performance and productivity metrics for assigned team.
  • Customer Service: Ensure team provides prompt, professional, and proficient assistance to commercial customers, including inquiries regarding account maintenance, billing statements, audit reconciliations, and assistance with system tools.
  • Delinquent Account Management: Perform monthly portfolio reviews of operations collection follow-up procedures according to published policy and operating guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively across all levels of the organization to support corporate mission and common performance goals.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Lending Experience: Minimum 6-10 years of commercial lending experience, preferably in floorplan.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field highly desired.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in commercial lending operations and credit/financial analysis.
  • Credit Risk Management: Possess a clear understanding of the credit risk management process.
  • Leadership and Communication: Ability to lead a team and participate in a team to ensure corporate or departmental objectives are communicated and effectively achieved.
  • Travel: 10% business travel required.
