ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading manufacturer in Elkhart County; the company is looking to hire an Assistant Corporate Controller. The company boasts a team-oriented culture and provides its' employees with the tools and training necessary to perform.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ASSISTANT CORPORATE CONTROLLER

  • The Assistant Controller will prepare reports to summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
  • Oversee and manage all general ledger activity.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end close process.
  • The Assistant Controller will assistant with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Direct determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets.
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Arrange for audits of company's accounts.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE ASSISTANT CORPORATE CONTROLLER:
  • 4-6 year's previous accounting experience
  • Previous public accounting experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree is a must; CPA or MBA preferred
  • Previous experience utilizing an ERP system
  • Advanced Excel skills including macros
