Position:
Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and uphold precise financial statements, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and industry standards.
  • Oversee general ledger activities, including the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Perform comprehensive account reconciliations and analyses to address discrepancies.
  • Support the budgeting process and financial forecasting.
  • Employ financial modeling techniques to anticipate future financial scenarios.
  • Deliver financial insights to management to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Establish and enforce internal financial controls and protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with auditing teams to guarantee compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in tax-related audits and submissions.
  • Remain informed about financial legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role.
  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and various accounting software applications.
  • Experience in account reconciliation, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • CPA or CMA certification is advantageous.
