This opportunity entails providing technical support for multiple project controls functions including scheduling, estimating, cost control, risk management, document control, quality, and project management information systems. The Project Controls Specialist I assists with reporting on cost controls and schedules for projects, updating and maintaining project controls system and document controls. What You'll Do: Prepares material, labor, and equipment cost estimates Assists in budget and schedule creation and maintenance Participates in project team assessment and progress updates Supports cost forecasts, risk assessment, and project controls technology Consults on claims, prepares reports, and participates in negotiations What You'll Need: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 3 years’ relevant experience 7 years’ relevant experience OR 3 years’ relevant direct contractor experience What We Prefer: AACE Project Risk Management Professional (PRMP), PMI Risk Management Professional (RMP), or equivalent Project Controls experience in multiple project lifecycle phases Experience as client's PM/CM agent or in design-build contractor roles
