Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead budget development, cost forecasting, and internal/client cost reporting for large-scale projects.
  • Implement advanced cost estimating methodologies and analyze various cost elements effectively.
  • Ensure accuracy by reconciling actual costs with project forecasts and budgets.
  • Manage project change orders and maintain detailed project cost reports.
  • Enhance project processes by developing cost structures and managing job-specific accounts.
  • Provide insights through monthly cost performance reports and EAC forecasts.
  • Identify budget release issues and analyze purchase order commitments.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of cost drivers and their interdependencies.

Requirements:

  • Background in finance or a related field with 3-5 years of finance experience.
  • Experience in supporting complex projects in transportation, energy, construction, or related sectors.
  • Proficient in collaborating with Project Managers and Controllers on financial aspects.
  • In-depth knowledge of revenue principles and cost control techniques.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and financial tools/systems.
