HR Coordinator

Position Overview

The HR Coordinator at Face Reality Skincare will handle the majority of HR administrative tasks and will be the first line of contact for all general HR inquiries raised by staff. This position reports to the Senior Human Resources Manager.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including conducting new-employee orientations, preparing written offer letters and sending them via DocuSign, and ensuring accurate completion of employee onboarding documents
  • Maintain the HRIS and other associated systems and online portals, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality of employee data
  • Maintain electronic personnel files inclusive of compiling, uploading, and updating records and supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Digitize paper files as needed
  • Support Senior HR Manager with annual performance review process
  • Act as the first point of contact for general HR inquiries. Answer employee questions, provide support, resources, and information. Deliver great customer service and build relationships that promote employee engagement and support. Escalates complex or unique issues to the Senior HR Manager
  • Respond to routine requests for information and verifications of employment
  • Send offboarding paperwork to departing employees, ensure collection & filing of paperwork
  • Help administer group health benefit plans and annual open enrollments. Assist with preparation of reports, documents and records required for group health benefits and retirement plans
  • Support in-person trainings, meetings, and presentations that align with the company's goals and values; Participate in planning of both department and company-wide events
  • Ensure posting of required notices and materials across all organizational locations
  • Assist supervisors with routine wage and hour issues and in tracking attendance and completing time records
  • Assist the Senior HR Manager with the company wellness program and initiatives
  • Participate in implementing and maintaining HR policies and procedures for all company personnel, ensuring compliance and alignment with federal and state regulations.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and offboarding
  • Collaborate with the HR team to implement and improve HR processes and procedures
  • Maintain knowledge of best practices and regulatory changes in human resources, talent management, and employment law
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of human resource management principles, local, state, and federal employment laws and regulatory requirements
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 platform
  • Strong verbal, written and, interpersonal communication skills
  • A customer service orientation and ability to communicate with tact, diplomacy, and discretion
  • Effective organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to move around the office including stooping, crouching, and/or kneeling to troubleshoot issues
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form
  • Comfortable lifting, pushing, and pulling equipment and materials
  • Comfortable using a computer, keyboard, and mouse

Salary: $27-$31 per hour plus yearly bonus and full benefits
