Position Summary: Under general supervision processes incoming loan documents and contracts from dealerships, ensuring receipt of all necessary documents. Assist Dealer Lending Center loan officers in processing loan documents and closing and funding Dealer loans.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
- Answer phones for department, take messages, ensure follow up on dealer contacts.
- Review Dealer loan documents to ensure receipt of all necessary documents and signatures for valid funding.
- Key data into LPQin assistance to Dealer Lending Center loan officers.
- Process loan disbursals to send out ACH deposits or cut Cashier's Checks payable to dealerships on purchased contracts.
- Process and cut checks payable to dealerships or send ACH deposits for dealer administrative fees.
- Deliver checks to dealerships and pick up contracts at dealerships when called upon.
- Scan all Dealer loan documents on purchased contracts into imaged loan archive system.
- Any and all other duties as assigned by the Dealer Lending Center Manager.
- Is able to interact with members, dealer representatives, and co-workers professionally and with integrity
- Shows a positive, enthusiastic attitude
- Maintains a reliable attendance record and takes responsibility for their own actions
- Represents Westmark, both during and after work hours, in a courteous, professional manner
Required Knowledge and Abilities:
- Ability to effectively use a PC, 10-key, Summit, and Lender Advantage computer system
- Demonstrated accuracy in the processing of detailed material
- Working knowledge of all loan forms and directives as they pertain to loan processing
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Above average detail and organizational skills
- Minimum one year work experience in any position at Westmark or work experience in a Dealer Lending Department at another financial institution
Salary Description
$18.00 - $20.87
