Overview:

MSA has an opportunity for an Senior Project Engineer - Electrical in our Milwaukee, WI office in our Buildings Service Line Line. This position will offer students hands-on project exposure to a variety of electrical building systems, such as power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, fire alarm systems, data distribution, communication systems, and security systems. Hands-on experience with a wide variety of buildings types including, K-12 schools, municipal buildings, and other commercial buildings. The various projects you'll be working on make a significant and positive impact on the communities you serve.

Responsibilities:

The work you may do

  • Project management and Client/Owner interaction
  • Electrical Engineering for the built environment: schools, higher education, commercial, municipal buildings; AKA Architectural Engineering
  • Design of building power distribution, lighting, and emergency power systems
  • Design of low voltage electrical systems to include Fire alarm, CCTV, Keyless entry, security, sound systems and Media delivery systems
  • Drawing development using Revit and assigning Revit modeling to others
  • Perform code reviews
  • Shop drawing and submittal review and processing
  • Assist with mentoring junior technicians and engineers

Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree Electrical Engineering or related degree required
  • A valid drivers license required
  • 6+ years of electrical engineering required
  • PE license required (WI preferred)
