Realtor.com is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager of Digital Analytics to lead our digital analytics strategy. Reporting to the Director, Data Science, this role is crucial in driving our business performance through data-driven insights, defining our event tracking strategy, and moving the organization to effectively leverage a world-class, real-time CDP.
As the Manager of Digital Analytics, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the analytics strategy for our digital initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to effectively implement solutions and processes that contribute to the overall success of our digital marketing and digital product efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital analytics, a deep understanding of various digital channels, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

What you'll do:
  • Digital Analytics Strategy: Assess capabilities and processes to develop and lead the digital analytics strategy, aligning with business goals and objectives.
  • Event Tracking and Data Capture: Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify critical events and data points necessary to drive business performance.
  • Event Tracking Taxonomy: Define and maintain the event tracking and Clickstream taxonomy to ensure comprehensive data capture and consistency across platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to product, marketing, and technology teams, providing guidance on analytics best practices and data-driven decision-making.
  • Roadmap Development: Set and execute a roadmap to optimize the event tracking taxonomy, identifying and closing any coverage gaps.
  • Process and Tooling Training: Enable the organization through process improvements and training on analytics tools and methodologies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics, providing actionable insights to drive business growth.
  • Marketing Attribution: Implement and optimize marketing attribution models to measure the effectiveness of various marketing channels and campaigns.

What you'll bring:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital analytics, with a strong background in event tracking, Clickstream and Marketing Attribution.. At least two years managing a team. Experience in marketplace or real estate businesses is a plus. Past experience working with engineering and product teams is a requirement.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading and mentoring analytics teams, with a track record of successfully executing analytics strategies. Collaborate with peers to influence decisions and maintain consistency across the organization. Prioritize objectives and provide comprehensive solution recommendations that consider ROI, time to market, scalability, and alternative options. Proven experience driving outcomes across functions.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Communication: Partner with various teams to outline roadmaps, identify dependencies, and share updates on progress. Ability to explain complex or intangible concepts to stakeholders at all levels is a must.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with SQL statements, prior software engineering experience a plus
  • Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, Google Analytics or other relevant analytics tools. Familiarity with cloud data solutions such as Snowflake.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
