Job Description

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Responsible for accurate data entry of reservations for room blocks, groups, including changes and cancellations
  • Creates files for each group to include types of rooms, room lists and preferences, and verification of billing with Hotel Credit
  • Responsible for processing advance deposits, refunds and forfeits (to be kept in group files)
  • May prepare proposals and contracts and distributes group information to appropriate departments.
  • Assists with billing corrections related to Group Masters and Group Reservations
  • Processes control sheets and handles special events and entertainment room requests.
  • Assists the rack area when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for the ordering of supplies
  • Contacts facilities for maintenance when necessary
  • Completes special assignments as requested
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior relevant experience, including LMS system, preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to operate a computer and perform basic math calculations


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changes.
