DEPARTMENT: Bankruptcy
POSITION LOCATION: Houston, TX
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work directly with, and take direction from, department attorneys to coordinate bankruptcy and other legal issues.
- Maintain and update client information in company database.
- Monitor and manage a large volume of case files.
- Draft various documents including but not limited to correspondence with law firms and trustees.
- Respond to telephone inquiries promptly, professionally, and efficiently to provide first call resolution.
- Understand and resolve client, trustee and law firm requests and questions.
- Attend weekly team meetings.
- Provide analysis of situations to determine best use of resources.
- Recommend process improvement to management.
Required:
- Consumer bankruptcy experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Superior time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to function with a high level of patience, tact and diplomacy
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office is required
- Legal Experience in mass tort of QSF management preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- Knowledge of Salesforce preferred
- Knowledge of Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) preferred
