POSITION SUMMARY

ARCHER Systems Bankruptcy Coordinator will be part of a collaborative team in the bankruptcy department. The successful person in this role will be a self-starter who is comfortable working with a high volume of files and who has excellent communication skills.

DEPARTMENT: Bankruptcy

POSITION LOCATION: Houston, TX

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work directly with, and take direction from, department attorneys to coordinate bankruptcy and other legal issues.
  • Maintain and update client information in company database.
  • Monitor and manage a large volume of case files.
  • Draft various documents including but not limited to correspondence with law firms and trustees.
  • Respond to telephone inquiries promptly, professionally, and efficiently to provide first call resolution.
  • Understand and resolve client, trustee and law firm requests and questions.
  • Attend weekly team meetings.
  • Provide analysis of situations to determine best use of resources.
  • Recommend process improvement to management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Required:
  • Consumer bankruptcy experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Superior time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to function with a high level of patience, tact and diplomacy
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office is required
Preferred:
  • Legal Experience in mass tort of QSF management preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Knowledge of Salesforce preferred
  • Knowledge of Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) preferred
