Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Escrow Officer to join our team at Dream Finders Homes. As an Escrow Officer, you will be responsible for processing residential transactions, ensuring timely and accurate completion of escrow duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Processing: Complete routine residential resale, refinance, or builder escrow transactions, including document preparation and accurate submission of closing disclosures.
  • Title Review: Read and understand title commitments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve title issues, such as corrective deeds, vesting, federal tax liens, abstracts of judgment, bankruptcies, mineral rights, boundary disputes, and encroachments.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Understand real estate regulations and guidelines, adhering to company standards and applicable state laws.
  • Closing Coordination: Coordinate closings between all parties involved in the escrow process.
  • Communication: Respond to calls, voicemails, and emails in a timely manner, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining a cordial relationship with realtors, lenders, builders, buyers, and sellers to promote and solicit business.
Requirements
  • Education: High school degree or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years escrow experience required.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of SoftPro preferred.
