Hybrid/Remote Position JOB SUMMARY: Overall Responsibility for the National Marketing Manager will be to work closely but cross functionally with key department heads that included but not limited to sales, operations, human resources, safety, and executive management. The role will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Sales and will have the opportunity to develop, create and support the overall marketing plan and initiatives both internally and externally. The National Marketing Manager will work closely with each branch personnel to develop their strategic marketing plans to incorporate and leverage the overall universal plan of the business. Responsibilities include but not limited to data analysis, reporting, market research, competitive analysis, planning, press liaison and management, social media management, online presence, customer specific marketing initiatives, internal communications and sales optimization support. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Create, develop, and support overall marketing plan of the corporation • Creates content for traditional, web, social, digital, and emerging communications platforms, which plays a key role in marketing for the overall business • Responsible for the brand in the market • Social Media management creating an inclusive presence in the market • Work with online tools to create online presence within the roofing contractor arena • Online management to include website management and product for purchase initiatives • Management of online initiatives to identify trends and opportunities for future company growth • Develops methods and strategies for assessing large amounts of data • Examines and adhere to company marketing budgets • Conducts research into competitive companies and the surrounding market • Support research and analysis for acquisition or branch expansions • Crafts web, print, and email experiences that optimize sales growth • Study purchase trends of contractor base and target demographic • Work with branch and sales management teams to create and implement local strategies to drive revenue and profitability • Creates sales evaluation reports in relation to marketing initiatives to review ROI • Suggests adjustments and revisions to promotional and marketing strategies to improve sales and profitability • Serves as a consultant for company marketing/sales strategies • Attends and participates in sales strategy meetings • Responsible for creation, distribution and management of press release initiatives • Leads informational sessions for staff to explain sales and marketing trends in the roofing market JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Well organized person with strong marketing background in a variety of disciplines, including online, virtual, print, and media. A person who is very dependable, self-starter and who can work independently. Preference given to those who hold degree (or equivalent work experience) in marketing. Education and Experience: Must have some college experience either having graduated or working towards graduation. Prefer marketing experience across multiple platforms and preferred but not required to have knowledge in building materials and/or roofing/contractor sector. Communication and Organization: Must have excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, high energy and positive environment. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as online social media and website
