AES Clean Energy (AES) is currently seeking a Senior Analyst to assist in evaluating AES' current and future markets for solar, wind, energy storage, and new technologies, within the United States. This role will be part of our Growth Strategy Team. The person in this position will be responsible for synthesizing internal and external data and analysis to build strategies for success for each market where we operate, with a focus on building tools to evaluate AES' competitiveness in these markets. This position can be remote or based at one of our U.S. offices. The role requires modest travel, as needed. The successful candidate will work on a cross-functional team and interact with AES commercial, project development, finance, policy, transmission, and other teams, as well as outside consultants, RTO operators, state utility regulators, local community authorities, and utility companies.
