Key Responsibilities for a VP B2B Business Development:
- Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive B2B sales, generating significant revenue from partnerships with businesses in skilled trades and healthcare.
- Market Expansion: Conduct market analysis, identify new business opportunities, and build strategic partnerships to expand the client base.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team to achieve sales targets. Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies.
- Sales Strategy: Refine sales processes and tools, prepare forecasts, and manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to contract closing.
- Client Management: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and identifying upsell opportunities.
- Budget & Resource Management: Oversee the business development budget and track team performance, sales metrics, and KPIs.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of B2B business development or sales experience, with a track record of generating $10M+ in revenue.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Expertise in negotiation, relationship building, and strategic planning.
- Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
