Description Position at Planned Companies Planned Companies -Business Development CoordinatorMonday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm Parsippany NJ, 07054 (Hybrid Work Schedule)SummaryThe BDC is responsible for driving an efficient sales process by optimizing sales activities in our customer relationship platforms and assisting our Business Development team in creating new opportunities and growing the business. Activities will include data entry, sales analytics, email prospecting, and prospect engagement tracking.Primary Job Responsibilities:Create engagement with leads provided by the marketing teamCreate new Opportunities for the Business Development teamResearch Contact and Property data on Pursuit and Target Accounts with a priority on vertical Pursuit AccountsIdentify the needs of opportunities in Passive Pipeline and help move them to Active PipelineCreate and establish effective relationships with prospects via e-mail and phone, utilizing sales toolsEnsure optimal utilization and accuracy of customer relationship platforms and all dataExecute the sales methodology on lead interactionsCreate templates and sequences for effective communication with ContactsUtilize business intelligence tool to provide insights to the Sales Operations, RVPs of Sales, and Business Development Identify common pain points and meet regularly with Marketing, Sales Ops, and Business DevelopmentUtilize effective communication tools with our brand voice and sales methodologyOvercome lead objections by asking the right questions and provide valuable insights to the Business Development teamRequirements:Bachelors degree required1-3 years of corporate experienceMust be detail oriented and have strong organizational skillsAbility to work quickly and efficiently in a high-paced environment while remaining focused on their daily tasks and responsibilitiesExcellent writing and communication skillsNeed to take initiative/self-starterAbility to work independently toward goalsExcellent follow-up skillsCreative thinker who can think outside the boxAdvanced knowledge of Excel and word processing requiredCRM and business intelligence tool knowledge a plusStrong proof-reading skillsBenefitsFull-time employees (defined as working 30 or more hours per week) are eligible for medical, dental, vision and other ancillary benefits.
