We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual to join the Collins Aerospace in our Supplier Quality Organization. As a Supplier Quality Assurance Representative (SQAR), you will lead, promote, and drive key processes with passion and dedication.

In this role, you will oversee Collins Power & Controls Supplier products and processes within the region, ensuring top-tier quality and compliance. You'll interact with various organizations, including suppliers, quality, procurement, operations, and engineering, both electronically and onsite. Success in this role requires excellent teamwork and the ability to independently manage and motivate oneself while handling multiple tasks.

What You Will Do
  • Primary oversite of all supplier quality activity related to compliance and product release for assigned suppliers.
  • Execution of assigned audits for quality systems and flight safety in accordance with Collins Supplier Quality flow down requirements.
  • Management and timely closure of all corrective actions resulting from audit findings.
  • Oversite and approval of Supplier Designated Quality Representatives (DQRs) sourcing product on behalf of Collins Aerospace.
  • Review and approval of supplier First Article Inspections for product supporting new programs as well as onsite review for flight safety hardware.
  • Validation and communication to various functions on execution of work transfer activity to prevent product escapes.
  • Ensure process discipline is being followed.
  • Driving robust strategic actions with select processes to improve and maintain quality performance.
  • Position requires travel: 25% - 40% travel (Regionally based in Northeastern United States, primarily NY, PA, NJ, and CT).
Qualifications You Must Have
  • 5+ years of experience in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, or related area preferably in the aerospace industry with a continued proven track record of performance achievement and growth.
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Position requires the candidate to be located on the East Coast.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Auditor certification (AS9100, AS9120).
  • Experience with aerospace industry certifications (AS9100, AS9120, AS9102, ISO9001, AS13002, FAA etc.).
  • Knowledge and ability to execute various problem solving and quality tools such as RCCA, 5 Why, PFMEA, etc.
  • Experience reviewing and approving First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
  • Ability to analyze and manipulate data for status reports and metrics.
  • Knowledge of inspection, six sigma, process certification, and statistical process control and process improvement methodologies.
  • Familiar with reviewing/reading technical specifications, procedures and drawings.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Excel, Access, SAP and web applications.
  • Program or project management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to lead in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
