Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager

  • Working closely with the Controller, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for full oversight of the corporate accounting team.
  • Lead, mentor and develop staff.
  • Review month end close and also have the ability to be fully hands on with the close. Journal entries, reconciliations, analysis.
  • Review journal entries and supporting documentation on a monthly basis.
  • Work on varied projects such as any clean up to be done with the newly implemented ERP system.
  • Support he annual audit.
  • Monthly and quarterly tax filings.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting Manager role

  • BS Accounting.
  • Healthcare accounting experience in a leadership role.
