Overview

Previous experience in credit and a solid understanding of partnership accounting will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Finalizing the financial records of credit funds on a monthly and/or quarterly basis using SS&C Geneva as supplementary records for the administrator's official documentation.
  • Managing daily financial reporting, including performance metrics, asset valuation, exposure analysis, attribution, and counterparty risk assessment.
  • Facilitating various administrative tasks both internally and externally to gather necessary information and documentation.
  • Preparing reports for lenders and portfolio performance as stipulated by credit facility agreements.
  • Compiling quarterly GAAP financial statements for specific legal entities.
  • Assisting in the preparation of annual audited financial statements and related tasks as needed.
  • Collaborating with the Tax Director on tax estimates, annual tax filings, and special tax projects.
  • Executing any other assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA certification (or in progress).
  • Experience in public accounting or alternative asset management.
  • Knowledge of Credit and Fixed Income assets.
  • Expertise in investment partnership accounting.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, collaborative, diligent, self-driven, confident, organized, and analytical.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Familiarity with SS&C Geneva and reconciliation systems is a plus.

Compensation

Nassau offers a competitive compensation package, which includes base salaries, performance incentives, and opportunities for professional development. The salary range for this role is within Nassau's salary band E: $130,000-$150,000.
