Overview

This position provides an opportunity to engage directly with investment funds and the financial statements of the organization. We seek a meticulous professional with exceptional communication and organizational capabilities. The successful candidate will demonstrate effective task prioritization and a proactive mindset in addressing challenges. Experience in credit and knowledge of partnership accounting will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monthly and quarterly closing of credit fund accounts using SS&C Geneva as supplementary records for the administrator's official documentation.
  • Managing daily financial reporting, which includes performance metrics, valuations, exposure assessments, attribution analysis, and counterparty risk evaluations.
  • Facilitating various administrative tasks, both internally and externally, to gather necessary information and documentation.
  • Preparing reports for lenders and portfolio analysis as stipulated by credit facility agreements.
  • Compiling quarterly GAAP financial statements for specific legal entities within the organization.
  • Assisting in the preparation of annual audited financial statements and related documentation as required.
  • Collaborating with the Tax Director on tax estimates, annual tax filings, and various tax-related projects.
  • Executing any additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA certification (or in progress).
  • Experience in public accounting or alternative asset management.
  • Background in Credit or Fixed Income asset management.
  • Proficiency in investment partnership accounting practices.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, collaborative, diligent, self-driven, confident, organized, and analytical.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with SS&C Geneva and reconciliation systems is a plus.
