Recalls gages for calibration at a predetermined time period (includes coordination with outside laboratories if required).

Assures that gages are calibrated, identified and gage records are updated and placed on fileMaintains records of and controls disposition of "Hold For Inspection" (discrepant) itemsCompiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activitiesSelects products for tests at specified stages in production process and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics; Does not require advanced Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) capability, however basic CMM may be requiredMonitors the SPC program on a continuing basis for adherence to its underlying principles and concepts; Performs process and machine capability studies as neededRecords test data, applying statistical quality control proceduresEvaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standardsRecommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capabilitySets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts or products to measure performance, life or material characteristicsPrepares graphs or charts of data or enters data into computer for analysisMaintains quality records in an orderly mannerMaintains use and care of safety equipment and procedures in the quality control laboratoryOther duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or university or two years of college in engineering/technical field 3 years of experience in an injection molding shop with emphasis on process problem solving Familiar with IATF 16949 Must be fluent in English Ability to apply advanced mathematics as typically taught during a four-year college or university course Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete or abstract variables in standard and non-standard situations Must be capable of working with computers and applicable programs - Microsoft Office applications and Minitab Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Working knowledge of TS16949 standards For immediate consideration,Apply Today
