As a key player in our organization, the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for Suppliers will be instrumental in ensuring that sourced components align with customer expectations and support our core operations. This role is vital for driving ongoing enhancements and will involve collaboration on various innovative product development initiatives while refining existing products in production.

Sloan stands as a premier manufacturer in the commercial plumbing sector, pioneering sustainable restroom solutions since our inception. Our commitment to the green building movement is reflected in our diverse portfolio of water-efficient products designed for commercial, industrial, and institutional markets globally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and uphold quality management systems, testing methodologies, and inspection protocols to ensure product compliance with specifications.
• Manage external corrective actions from initiation to resolution to enhance product quality and process integrity.
• Advocate for the continuous enhancement and standardization of incoming inspection processes.
• Lead and implement Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) techniques, including Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) within new product initiatives.
• Utilize project management expertise to guarantee the timely execution of innovation and renovation projects.
• Engage in engineering change discussions to stay informed about design modifications and their implications for customers.
• Compile and monitor comprehensive reports on supplier performance metrics, including defect rates.
• Conduct on-site assessments of supplier manufacturing processes to pinpoint areas for improvement within the supply chain, performing root cause analysis and verifying corrective actions.
• Analyze supplier scrap data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Provide guidance and direction to Inspectors, Technicians, and other quality personnel.
• Ensure a quality-centric approach to new business ventures and projects to effectively meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with the Quality Review Board to assess and address customer dissatisfaction, leveraging Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to identify and resolve issues.
• Facilitate training for support staff across various Sloan facilities.
• Act as a quality representative in the evaluation and qualification of potential suppliers, both domestically and internationally, to meet Sloan's operational needs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance and manufacturing.
