Position Title: Quality Assurance Engineer - Pass Thru Components

Key Responsibilities
The individual in this role will be responsible for a variety of essential functions, including:
- Acting as a liaison for Quality Assurance during new model launches, ensuring effective communication between North American clients and international facilities regarding Pass-Thru Components.
- Leading the review and submission of documentation for new model launches to customer portals.
- Navigating customer portals to comprehend specific requirements and launch criteria.
- Facilitating internal OBEYA activities to track launch performance.
- Assisting international teams with initiatives aimed at quality enhancement.
- Coordinating containment efforts at warehouse sites across North and South America as necessary.
- Collaborating closely with the Program Management team to grasp launch timelines and requirements during regular meetings.
- Participating in meetings with North American Quality Managers and the NA Quality Group.
- Supporting the collection of data and information for the North American Quality Performance Report.
- Engaging in training sessions related to the Aisin Way and industry standards as required.
- Working collaboratively with Aisin North American Plants and other office locations to foster a unified team approach.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Essential skills and experience include:
- Proficient knowledge of the MS Office suite, particularly MS Excel.
- Ability to coordinate and negotiate effectively with customers and overseas Aisin facilities.
- Strong project management and coordination capabilities.
- Competence in root cause analysis and problem-solving (Core Quality Skills).
- 3-5 years of experience in planning or supporting high-volume manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with Core Documents such as Control Plans and PFMEA.
- Experience with APQP processes.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Understanding of the 7 Basic QC Tools.
- Basic knowledge of MS Access is advantageous.
Education and Certifications
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Travel Requirements
- Willingness to travel approximately 25-30% of the time as needed to meet business objectives.
