Position: Staff Accountant
Salary: $75-$85k depending on experience plus bonus, stock options, 100% covered medical
Location: Carlsbad Hybrid 4 days onsite/ 1 day remote
Direct Hire

Responsibilities:
•Execute monthly financial closing procedures for the corporate accounting division, including the creation of journal entries and reconciliation of accounts.
•Compile organized documentation to facilitate the smooth execution of our annual financial statement audit.
•Assist in generating standard and ad-hoc reports for the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Director of Finance.
•Manage accounts payable by reviewing invoices for completeness and approval prior to payment
•Analyze monthly and quarterly actual results against the established plan and produce a range of reports stemming from this analysis.
•Take charge of accounts receivable by independently generating invoices, overseeing customer collections, and producing associated reports.
•Lead the administration of Concur and the corporate credit card program.
•Maintain 1099 data for vendors and provide assistance in fulfilling annual reporting obligations.
•Proactively identify opportunities to enhance internal controls and optimize our business processes.

Qualifications:
•Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
•Preferred experience with NetSuite and Concur
•A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
•CPA certification is desirable but not mandatory
•Prior experience in the medtech industry is a plus
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables and VLOOKUP
•Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
