- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline
- 5 years of experience in Human Resources; 3 years directly supporting in an Employee Relations capacity
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and statutes that govern employment policies and practices
- Master's degree in Human Resources or related discipline
- Professional in Human Resources certification preferred
- Partner with business leaders and colleagues to provide guidance and resolution in workplace matters
- Consult with business leaders on interpretation and application of corporate policies, practices and applicable laws and regulations
- Field colleague complaints and concerns and conduct basic workplace investigations as required
- Communicate regularly with the business leaders regarding investigations and on the appropriate corrective actions as required
- Recognize risk factors and apply appropriate employment laws and regulations to colleague matters
- Assist with employment relations work stream for organizational changes such as redundancies or realignments
- Assist business leaders and colleagues with leave and accommodation administration
- Maintain thorough documentation of workplace matters
- Assist with creating and maintaining team processes and procedures
