Qualifications

Associate Degree required, Bachelor Degree preferred Strong Manufacturing background within a Tier-1 Automotive environment (highly preferred) Launch and LOE Management Experience Management of multiple discipline teams Knowledge of application of lean principles, quality improvement processes, manufacturing process, and production management systems Knowledge of basic mechanical concepts and practical application of technology Leadership skills to conduct workshops and drive continuous improvement Excellent problem solving skills AutoCAD experience

Duties

Ensure PDP process is followed for all launches, including MSD, OSD, and Zero Defect Launch Manage the Lead Operations Engineering Group (LOE) and Change Management Process Develop, coach, and mentor direct reports, and increase overall knowledge of lean Ensure all program deliverables are met, and escalate issues in a timely manner for resolution Coordinate plant resources to meet all launch metrics (skilled trades, floor space, operators, CMM, kaizen team, engineers, etc.) Lead lean workshops and the continuous improvement process (Kaizen) Maintain overall equipment capacities for the plant
