ROLE OVERVIEW // As the Store Opening Leader, you will play a pivotal role in launching and managing the daily operations of your Barracuda Taco Stand. You will oversee all team members and handle administrative and leadership responsibilities to ensure smooth operations. A comprehensive training program will be provided to prepare you for success.

COMPENSATION // Joining Barracuda means becoming part of a team that values respect and balance. We offer competitive compensation based on experience and performance, with a salary range of $68,000 - $75,000 annually, including performance-based profit sharing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES // As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for:

Pre-Launch Activities:
  • Collaborating with various departments to execute a detailed plan for the restaurant's opening.
  • Assisting in recruiting and training your team, ensuring adherence to Barracuda Training Programs.
Post-Launch Activities:
  • Overseeing daily operations and serving as a liaison between team members and leadership.
  • Building relationships with team members to enhance efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Acting as the subject matter expert for your restaurant, addressing inquiries and developing action plans.
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
  • Ensuring the quality of food, drinks, ambiance, and team performance.
  • Guaranteeing that all team members provide exceptional customer service.
  • Creating and managing shift schedules to meet business needs and customer expectations.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and achieving high health inspection scores.
OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
  • Fostering a teamwork-oriented environment focused on service and continuous improvement.
  • Motivating the team to enhance morale and productivity.
  • Managing daily operations with attention to detail and empowering team members.
  • Communicating effectively with leadership to ensure transparency and address areas needing improvement.
TEAM SUPPORT & DEVELOPMENT
  • Supporting team members during service and identifying performance improvement opportunities.
  • Ensuring thorough execution of Barracuda Training Programs and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Monitoring adherence to company policies and facilitating fair corrective actions when necessary.
  • Collaborating with other departments to meet business objectives.
  • Developing future Store Managers and promoting internal talent for new openings.
QUALIFICATIONS //
  • 5+ years of restaurant management experience.
  • 2+ years of budget management experience with full P&L responsibility.
  • Experience managing a team of 20-30 direct reports.
  • Hands-on experience in developing training programs.
  • Passion for food and hospitality.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
  • Holder of a Manager Food Safety Certification.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
