What you will be doing:
  • Provide client support via incoming calls, email and mail.
  • Respond in a timely manner to all client inquiries.
  • Handle and resolve escalated client needs.
  • Facilitate the application and underwriting process for new insurance policies, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
  • Assist in the manual renewal process of policies such as personal umbrella and liability insurance which require client outreach and new applications at each term
  • Assist clients in shopping for insurance policies by obtaining quotes from multiple carriers, conducting comparisons, and recommending the most suitable options.
  • Perform complex support tasks requiring a higher level of product knowledge.
  • Document all client correspondence by entering into the Agency Management System.
  • Handle the processing of endorsements and payments.
  • Ensure that QA metrics are met regarding client satisfaction and call management.
  • Maintain records according to Agency standards, ensuring that procedures are properly followed, and that information is accurately documented.
  • Meet or exceed specified QA guidelines to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to Client Support Representatives
  • Provide input regarding process improvement, reporting, and analysis
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
What you have:

Education, Experience, and Licensing:
  • 3+ years' experience in customer service position required.
  • 2+ years' experience in Property & Casualty Insurance required.
  • 1+ years' experience with personal lines insurance products required.
  • Active 4-40, 20-44 or 2-20 license required.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
  • Goal oriented with a high level of resilience.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proven ability to be adaptable and flexible. Adjusting to new requirements or unforeseen issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to professionally interact with team members in other departments.
  • Ability to learn new systems and applications.
  • Proficient in MSO/365 applications such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
