CV-AI is used to understand people, things, and scenes in customers' photos and videos, in a legally and privacy compliant way. This deep understanding of customer's photos and videos is used to power search, organization, and curated memories that show up to millions of customers on Amazon Photos apps, Echo Show, Fire TV, and Tablets. You know how to improve the quality and speed of delivery by gathering high-quality requirements, driving toward the right architectural outcomes, and by identifying, tracking, and communicating the path to delivery within and across the organization. Always looking for ways for us to improve, you identify and create mechanisms which will help us raise the bar on the next release. YOUR SKILLS As a Sr. TPM, you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance customer and business needs against technical constraints. An ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent, and leadership are essential to success in this role. Key job responsibilities Drive the development and execution of experiences on our Photos apps, inventing and delivering delightful Photos experiences with CV-AI. You will work with our engineering, product, Applied Science, and QA teams to ensure we are architecting, planning, and on track to deliver high-quality CV-AI customer experiences and high-quality releases, making scalable long-term technical decisions while meeting our commitments. Coordinate and plan across multiple teams, finding technical solutions that span backend and client applications. Identify gaps in our software development lifecycle and lead process improvements so we can deliver more to our customers and have fun doing it. Partner with Legal, PR, and Privacy partners, to ensure we use CV-AI in a compliant and responsible way, that minimizes risks for customer harms and upholds customer data privacy. About the team Amazon Photos helps customers preserve and relive their memories. The service comes with unlimited photo storage for Prime members and apps are available on iOS, Android, Web, Desktop, Fire Tablet & Fire TV. The service is also integrated into Alexa devices such as Echo Show. Amazon Photos is one of the main digital offerings to Prime subscribers along with Amazon Music and Amazon Video offerings. We have ambitious goals to scale growth and adoption of the service around the world and delight our customers with a great product. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of technical product or program management experience 3+ years of software development experience 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience Experience defining KPIs/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
