KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Help customers get the best electricity rate for their home Listen to customer concerns to find the best product that fits their needs Use closing techniques to overcome objections Speak with over 30 residential customers daily Meet and exceed sales quotas while seeking new ways to improve their approach Try new and non-traditional ways to connect with customers and remain open to feedback Share ideas across teams to improve our capabilities and products Maintain a high level of open communication and morale at ComparePower and within our sales team Adhere to ComparePower's attendance and tardiness policies QUALIFICATIONS 1+ year of inside sales experience preferred 1+ year experience in the energy industry a plus but not required 1+ year of customer service experience preferred Ability to work in a high-energy sales environment as a team player A desire to deeply understand customer needs and frustrations to build rapport over the phone and via text Effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment Strong interpersonal and analytical skills Strong oral and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Demonstrated ability in computer skills, including email, CRM system & web-based tools ABOUT COMPAREPOWER ComparePower (ComparePower.com) is a technology-enabled sales and marketing company based in Dallas.
