Position Summary
The Document Control Specialist I will be responsible for supporting the execution of the overall data entry and document management consistency to ensure AS9100 practices are upheld. This person will manage documentation, generate reporting, analyze the integrity of Innoflight's metadata, coordinate with other departments, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and help identify improvement opportunities in the process. Other responsibilities will include departmental training, conducting audits, and driving resolutions as directed by the Configuration Management policies and procedures.Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Perform integration and archiving of all official releases of engineering drawings and procedures.
  • Support document change control process ensuring proper document number assignment, timely review and approval, release, and distribution of controlled documents.
  • Perform accurate control of drawings and other documented information based on release level.
  • Perform a Physical Configuration Audit (PCA) on initial builds of new products.
  • Administer tasks associated with Innoflight's Document Management System (i.e. M-Files, SVN)
  • Support Quality team with objectives associated with AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Contribute to the development of processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the DMS.
  • Support effort to obtain and maintain AS9100 certification
  • Create and/or review Lot Plans (aka Batch records)
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Certification or Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • 3 or more years of cross-functional experience in the following areas: Coordination, Customer Service, Administrative, Data Management, Configuration Management.
  • Previous auditing experience preferred.
  • Technical background preferred.
  • Experience with business systems and database input and extraction.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Able to integrate quickly, communicate well, facilitate/lead; hit the ground running.
  • Enjoy working in a growth-orientated and high-energy environment.
  • Effective communication, collaborative, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to details and talents for accuracy and precision.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

hourly Range

$33.50 - $40.00 Per Hour

However, Innoflight considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. Employees may be eligible for profit sharing and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. In addition, Innoflight provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, 401K, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
