Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst will provide support P&L financial performance management and FP&A department as well as each functional area of the company, as needed, by way of monthly reporting and analysis work as well as ad-hoc projects. They will work with the FP&A Manager to provide accurate and timely reporting each month as well as insightful analysis for the functional leadership and management of the company as required. They will also work with the Business Intelligence Sr. Director to support various BI initiatives, with primary focus being on overall company productivity and financial improvement.
Essential Functions:
Analyzes, evaluates and interprets appropriate financial and statistical data, reports and
Develops and/or documents business policies, conducts special financial and business-related studies and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses.
Conducts financial and business-related analyses and research including the preparation of forecasts and/or analysis of trends.
Provides reasoning for variances and make recommendations relative to the accounting treatment of reserves, assets, amortizations, accruals, and expenditures.
Advises management of expected outcomes and recommend ways to improve the
Independently pursues fundamental problem solving and documents the recommendations to
Utilizes standard financial tools to input, retrieve or display accounting
Develops and maintains spreadsheets and
Utilizes PC and/or systems and software, compiles and prepares reports, graphs and charts of data developed.
Serve as strategic business partner overseeing financial performance of the Business Unit or Function, including profitability and resource allocation related decisions.
Provide strategic functional expertise in setting business direction, approving business development activities, as well as defining and monitoring performance metrics to deliver
Financial planning and analysis of period results and strategic long-range outlook for P&Ls.

Experience & Education Qualifications:
BS/BA degree required: Accounting or Finance.
2-4 years working experience in a financial analyst position, where duties were focused on financial variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
Must be a team player who works well under pressure, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
Must be a self-starter and quick learner.
Location/Travel:
Work is in the office in Kennesaw, GA.
Required Travel: Infrequent/Not applicable.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit or stand for specific periods;
Occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch.
May require occasional lifting 1-5 lbs.
Specific vision abilities include; close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to sit in front of computer monitor for extended periods of time.
