Welcome to The Pillars of Grand Rapids, opened in early 2022 in Grand Rapids, MN. Conveniently located near Highways 2, 169, and adjacent to Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital, gives peace of mind with a high standard of medical care nearby. The beautiful scenery of the Mississippi River and the Sylcvan trail head are just a few of these cities perks. Managed by Ebenezer, our community will provide independent senior living, assisted living and memory care. We offer an age-in place model, where our residents choose apartments and services based on their needs

Responsibilities/Job Description:
  • Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting
  • Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and happiness with their meal service
  • Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies
  • Assists with meal prep and special events
  • Provides kitchen support when needed with dish washing and cleaning of floors
  • Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately
Qualifications:
  • No previous experience required, but prefer work experience in a customer service setting
  • Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor required
  • Desire to work with seniors
  • Ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff
