Amity Companies, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Vice President to join our team focused on investing in affordable housing properties and platforms.

You would be joining a vibrant, entrepreneurial team working out of our downtown Portland (ME) or Greenwich (CT) offices. The firm’s discretionary funds, financial stability and fast growth would allow the right candidate ample room for career advancement.

Requirements

-4+ years of relevant work experience in affordable housing investment or finance.

-Strong analytical skills.

-Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.

-Excellent written and oral communication skills.

-Willingness to travel (~25%).

-Proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

-Analyze opportunities from brokers, investment bankers, and off-market channels.

-Build and review financial models, oversee due diligence, and drive closings.

-Help execute asset management business plans.

-Deals will likely include the acquisition of LIHTC, HAP, and RD properties and GP interests. Special projects include corporate private equity and structured financings.

-Ability to review and drive legal documentation for complex deals.

-Other duties as required.
