This is a remote position open to applicants in FL, IL, KS, MI, OH, PA, TN, TX, UT, & WI only. This is not a sales position & requires HR experience.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The National Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with our top HR software clients, focusing on maintaining retention and achieving long-term success. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate complex client needs. Extensive travel is required for in-person meetings and client visits. Additionally, the National Account Manager participates in HR Consulting activities and other special projects as assigned. The role requires travel as needed to support clients and/or company events.

THE WORK ITSELF

Customer Satisfaction and Retention:

  • Responsible for managing designated client accounts (clients with the highest annual recurring revenue amounts and/or those that sit on the CUSG or HRPS Board of Directors) and their use of HR Performance Solutions' products to identify methods to improve experience and overall usage to accommodate business and cultural initiatives.
  • Develop an understanding of the client's objectives and assess their business strategies and needs in relation to those objectives.
  • Introduce a proactive service culture by gathering feedback on the client experience with our products on a regular basis while evaluating satisfaction level and likelihood of renewal.
  • Identify, understand, and communicate areas to improve end-user experience with our products.
  • Participate in product meetings to discuss issues, make recommendations, and brainstorm ideas to better support clients.
  • Participate in system content update meetings.
  • Track all communication with clients via Hubspot, SugarCRM, and other shared applications.
  • Maintain client data for an assigned list of top clients, including dates of most recent contact with each client and notes about their particular needs/objectives. Make the list available to all HRPS team members via the CRM and other avenues.
  • Maintain retention among assigned top client base and provide detailed documentation of reasons for any cancelations.
Product Referrals to Sales:
  • Leverage Account Management relationship to generate demonstration opportunities for the sales team.
  • Analyze designated accounts for opportunities to increase product penetration.
  • Understand satisfaction level and contract terms of other HR software applications used by the client.
HR Consulting:
  • Acts as a subject matter expert in HR Performance Solutions products.
  • Evaluate client/prospect goals and objectives and make solution recommendations, including processes, programs and products, to meet the needs of existing and prospective clients.
  • Prepare relevant content for webinars and presentations as requested for internal communication and conferences, helping HRPS to remain a thought leader in the HR software industry.
  • Assume responsibility for maintaining effective working relations, communication, and coordination with team members.
THE SKILLS YOU BRING

The Must Haves...
  • Associate's degree or 2 years post high school education.
  • One to three years of sales and/or account management.
  • Three to five years of experience as HR practitioner.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal and group communications skills.
  • Effective in successfully managing client relationships.
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Well demonstrated presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Aptitude to analyze data related to client accounts, including opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to adapt to change and work requirements.
  • Expert knowledge in human resources best practices, trends, performance management, learning management, and compensation practices.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and OneNote.

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or business preferred.
  • HR software industry preferred.
  • SHRM/HRCI certification preferred.
